I saw the potential in this small Port Stanley store so I offered my services to give it a little facelift.  With a tiny budget we set out to transform the place. 

I decided on, what I’m calling, a Rustic Beach Theme - light & airy with antique/rustic touches.

Every time I visit my parent’s, and as my mother pours me my first cup of tea, I remember how we used to sit down to a cup a tea every day after school. This prompted today’s post… featuring teapots! 

Spring is arriving!

(well, hopefully). After all we did celebrate it’s 2009 birth just a few days ago. Most inspiring spring designs are about green and life but for me spring starts with empty branches and earth so my spring inspiration is… twigs. 

So in general, I plan to only post about things that are actually doable/achievable by the average person. BUT I’m willing to break the rule… especially for something as cool as this:

At night, this wall application has got to look absolutely stunning.

A much more subtle approach… just as stunning.

A few days ago I blogged about my love of the current removable wall decal trend. In the post I neglected to show some of the cool stuff they’re doing with kid’s stuff.

Again from Canada’s Surface Collective… in particular I love the “height measuring decals” where you move the birdies to show measurements on the plant measure (below top left).
