LEGOcrush

July 25, 2012 uncategorized Comments

I have had an affinity for LEGO for as long as I can remember. I have distinct memories of being super excited to visit my cousins in Sarnia because they had tons of colourful bricks (they were a LEGO-loving family). My first LEGO set was a spaceship, model 1968. It’s the one toy that I still have to this day. Clearly my crush started with that spaceship…

I don’t know why but lately I’ve taken a liking to multi-coloured stripes. I have no idea if I’m behind on a trend, catching up, or a head of my time. All I know is that it holds some sort of appeal to me at the moment. :) If you’re diggin’ colour right now let these ideas push you past your boundaries and spur you to embrace multi-colour in a bold way!

I love colour! (Even though I’m currently sitting here, all in neutrals. My laptop bag is orange, does that count? :P)

As a designer I often get asked questions about colour, usually in regards to pairing, schemes, effective usage, etc. So, today I thought I’d do a little knowledge-sharing.
